BAS* a new project space by Banu Cennetoğlu.

BAS* is a new artist project space initiated by Banu Cennetoğlu and located next to and sponsored by the HQ of the Bilsar company in Şişhane. BAS* main focus is the presentation, dissemination and eventually production of printed matter. Periodically the space will also host local and international art projects and exhibitions.
BAS* is not officially open yet, but it will be from January 2006 and in the meantime, during the Biennial opening weekend the space will present works by 5 artists: Rosa Barba, Banu Cennetoglu, Bojan Fajfric, Sanja Medic and Mira Sanders who will be in 'a tall distance with Mr. Reis' for three days. On September 17 at 17:00 Jan Werner (Mouse on Mars) will perform live.
