As their project for the İstanbul Biennial, Superflex and Jens Haaning have shipped 1000 posters from the Biennial to Copenhagen where they will be bill posted throughout the city. These posters will displace one activity to another site. By declaring İstanbul in Copenhagen, the barely hidden racism and xenophobia of some Danes will be a little provoked. For immigrants, seeing the posters might incite different emotions. For İstanbul, it could be seen as an unusual recognition by a northern country that is usually concerned mainly with itself.
